ABOVE: Searcy Beats and Eats raised a little more than $5,000 for the Museum of Discovery at Tinkerfest, the organizers’ first ticketed event, according to co-coordinator Marka Bennett. The museum experienced an estimated $2 million in damages from winter weather events earlier this year.

LEFT: Tim Westbrook of Harding University was the “theme leader” and Marka Bennett said he did a great job from concept to actuality on the STEM-related street festival. Bennett said weather was perfect and Harding Academy’s Breakaway robotics team was “impressive as always.”
