Don't forget the turkeys
Volunteers at Searcy First Assembly of God on Benton Street load a vehicle Monday afternoon with turkeys and all the fixings for a complete Thanksgiving meal. The church volunteers had 600 boxes prepared for their annual giveaway. Volunteers said vehicles started lining up at 8 a.m. for the 3 p.m. event. Searcy police officers assisted with directing traffic.
