Crashing into His House

ABOVE: At approximately 3:24 p.m. Thursday, Dwight Bledsoe accidentally crashed his 2000 black Cadillac Escalade into His House Ministry, 421 N. Grand Ave., according to Searcy Police Department Lt. Todd Wells. Wells said Bledsoe lost control of the vehicle traveling westbound in the Katie’s Place Apartments parking lot, 901 E. Moore Ave., and traveled across the northbound and southbound lanes of Grand, basically running off the roadway into His House and “pretty much crashed through the building. His truck went inside the building completely.” No one was injured, however, Bledsoe was taken to Unity Health-White County Medical Center.

LEFT: Noel Whitlock, preaching minister at the College Church of Christ, said 15 minutes before the crash, the building was occupied, but it had just closed up for the day. He said His House is open Monday and Thursday afternoons. His House is a ministry of the College Church of Christ.
