Club projects aid area cancer patients

The Bald Knob Extension Homemakers Club recently completed two projects. The group made 80 small pillows for breast cancer patients and also made hat or head coverings for cancer patients. Items made were donated to the oncologist office in Searcy, where they will be given to patients. Club members pictured include (first row, from left) Wanda Emde, Mary Hale, Mary Ellen Nutter, (second row, from left) Donna Frederick, Holly Dixon, Vicki Pennington, Kathy Lawson and Theresa Carrell. Not pictured is project chair and seamstress Lorraine Knight.
