VBS: Temple Baptist Church, 700 W. Moore Ave. in Searcy, will hold Vacation Bible School for pre-K through sixth grade today through Thursday from 5:15-8:30 p.m. Theme is "Galactic Starveyors."

Meeting: The White County Creative Writers group will meet Monday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Simmons First Bank, 401 S. Main St. in Searcy. Beginning writers are welcome. They meet the third Monday of the month.

Summer food program: The Pangburn School District will host a summer feeding program Monday-Thursday and June 26-29 with breakfast from 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. All students 18 and under eat free. VBS: Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 727 Salem Church Road in Judsonia, will host Vacation Bible School on Monday through June 23 from 6-8 p.m. Snacks provided Monday-Thursday and hot dogs Friday. Theme is "Dr. Vanguard's Voyages: The Redeemer."

Food program: The Searcy School District will host a summer food service program at McRae Elementary School, 609 McRae Ave. in Searcy, on Monday through Friday and June 26-30. Breakfast is served from 8-8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Meals will be provided to all children 18 and under without charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Fundraiser: Rev. Lamar and Mary Wright with Sue's Alterations and MW Boutique will host a benefit and fashion show against domestic violence Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Carmichael Community Center, 801 S. Rhizome sale: The White County Iris Society will hold its annual rhizome sale Saturday at the White County Courthouse square in downtown Searcy from 8 a.m. to noon or until the rhizomes are gone.

Fundraiser: Rocky Point Baptist Church, 2130 Rocky Point Road in Judsonia, will hold a silent auction Saturday from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. There will be concessions for sale and a bouncy house for children.
