Searcy's 10s finished in second place in the Dixie Youth Baseball AAA State tournament in Searcy over the weekend. Searcy had two teams participate in the tournament, including a group of 9-year-olds. Both Searcy teams fell to Sevier County. Harding's volleyball team was one of three schools in Arkansas, including Lyon College and Arkansas State, to earn the Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Monday. Harding's 2017 team boasted a 27-6 record, finished second in the Great American Conference regular season and reached the championship match of the GAC Tournament. They also compiled a 3.54 GPA.
