Letters Policy

Letters to the editor must contain the writer's signature and address in order to qualify for publication. The writer's telephone number is also required. Letters should be a maximum of 300 words. We reserve the right to edit letters to conform to stylistic, grammatical and length requirements. Letters that contain libelous, obscene or other material deemed as offensive to readers will not be published. Form letters and mass mailing letters will not be used. All letters are submitted for consideration of publication only. The The Daily Citizen reserves the right to limit writers or reject any submissions.
